Santo Domingo
The Temple of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, a jewel of baroque architecture that continues to enchant locals and tourists alike with its majesty. "The internal decoration of this sanctuary is in the Baroque style, and Mexican workers and the best architects brought from Spain worked on it. Its construction began in 1575 and was completed at the end of the same century. Its consecration took place in 1611" - INAH

The Macedonio Alcalá Theater
The Macedonio Alcalá Theater is one of the iconic venues in Oaxaca and one of the most important theaters in the country, being a bastion of culture since its inauguration on September 5, 1909. Considered one of the 5 most beautiful theaters in the Mexican republic.

The Tule Tree
The Tule Tree is a Montezuma cypress with the largest trunk diameter in the world, measuring 14.06 meters (almost 44 meters in circumference approximately). About 30 people holding hands are needed to surround the tree; it is 42 meters tall, with a crown circumference of 58 meters, a volume of 816,829 m3, and a weight of 636 tons. Various shapes, such as an elephant, the head of a lion, a crocodile, and even a gnome's house, can be seen on its trunk.

Monte Albán
The archaeological site of Monte Albán was declared a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site on December 11, 1987, together with the Historic Center of the City of Oaxaca. The area protected by INAH covers a surrounding polygon of 2078 hectares. It was one of the most important cities in Mesoamerica, founded around 500 B.C. on top of a mountain in the center of the Central Valleys of Oaxaca. It served as the capital of the Zapotecs from the beginning of our era until 800 A.D.
